2008 Summer Library Program
at the Mobile Public Library
May 31 - July 12

Sign up for summer reading. You can register at the Kick-Off or anytime throughout the program. When you register you'll receive a colorful book bag and a free admission voucher for a BayBears game. Set a reading goal and track your progress on the reading log you receive when you register. You can track your progress by listing the titles of the books you read, or by counting up the number of hours you spend reading. Attend Weekly Specials and other fun programs at your library.

Summer readers are invited to swarm onto the BayBears field on Friday, June 27. Kids present your BayBears Voucher (which you receive when you register) to receive free admission. All other guests will receive discounted tickets. Adults: Please be sure to call BayBears before the game (the phone number is on your voucher) to confirm arrangements for these free and discounted tickets. The first 1,000 kids receive a free baseball cap! The game starts at 7:05 p.m., but kids arriving at 6:05 will be called out onto the field to be recognized for their participation in the Summer Library Program.

• Get into the act with a good book!
• Read to your Grandma when she comes to visit!
• Read to a younger brother or sister, cousin or friend.
• Listen to some audio books in the car. The whole family can enjoy listening, too.
